Sorry but a i guessed you must think i was the one who "slagged" you as trailer trash??? well as you can see i have not been hostile and i did not post that comment. Did it occur to you that I was not the only Santa who was there Who didn't know about Santa Rampage??? Perhaps not. Personally I love trailer trash so I had a great time and look forward to next year. And for the Santa who bashed the Santa rampage as a trailer park offshoot Kudos to you for actually standing up for what you believe in!!!!!

I'm so sorry you slagged our previous Rampage as trailer trash. We like our trailer trash Rampage! When you are singing songs like we sing isn't that just the atmosphere we are trying to create? So sorry you were too good for us! LOL elitist Santas I love it!

Santa Rampage in Las Vegas IS Santacon which IS Santarchy which was created by SF Cacophony. There was no Santa at all in Las Vegas until Santa brought it here in 2003. It evolved from Bam Bam's 'strip walks'. We've also done Uncle Sam Rampage around the 4th of July, and stopping time at First Friday and at last year's Rampage on Fremont St. We are the only region who does a Summer rampage, or we're damn sure the first. We haven't used this list because it was unavailable to Santa in the past. The next one is in July 2010 or whenever you get off your lazy asses and make it happen. Just because it's not posted on meetup, or facebook, or whatever this month's flavor of the week email list is or even here doesn't mean anything or make it any less valid. Just because we choose to call it Santa Rampage doesn't make it any less valid. It's the same thing. A hundred Santa's showed up last December and rocked the house with another 50 in July. And here's the best part; You can schedule one whenever you'd like Santa because no one is in charge, 'you may already be a member'.

See you in July f@*kos. Be good stay in school, obey your parents.
Santa out.

SantaCon not allowed. That's just silly. I heard no SantaCon Attendee's speaking up to call carols or see if any of the people there for the Rampage wanted to try a new venue or two. It seems to me that instead of trying to find us with Rapmage and merge the agenda's you were more pissed that you weren't the stars. I would have loved to see a group effort to mix things up a bit. I was unfortunately unaware of the Santa Con gathering until I approached the two lone santa's not mingling with the large group of Santa's to offer them a schedule that as created for the group with over 100 RSVP's.

Instead of crying about it, how about instead see what we can do as a group of like minded individuals to get all on the same page.

I for one welcome adding new venues to the line up.

Little did we know that when we showed up for what we thought was SantaCon last year, it was actually the trailor park offshoot known as Santa "Rampage". As close as we can tell, SantaCon is neither allowed nor represented in Sin City. We now know to travel to a city where it can really happen. Vegas was waaaay less than a letdown.

Wow Santa's the feedback here is very hostile and really screws what we were trying to do as a group. I was the one who e mailed Santa Webmaster to pick the date Dec18. I knew not of Santa Raampage only SantaCon and because no date was picked to my knowledge i thought it would be fun to put it together. I was one of the lone santas which the agenda my team put together which when I met pirate hat Santa we discussed using multiple venues and no one was upset or concerned about the event. The reason i was hiding between the cart and the sign was because i was one of the first Santa's to arrive and i was being approached by many families who wanted me to take pictures with there kids. I complied until security told me I was not allowed to be dressed up as Santa without a permit and I could not be there. So yes after being accused of trying to make a quick buck being Santa and told I would be removed from the property I was hiding from families with their kids. Then I purchased Beer because i thought it would deter the prudes from asking me to take pictures with their kids. Then more Santa;s showed up and people wanted pictures with beer drinking santa and we were able to merge with the group because of the strength in numbers. Was I upset we did not use my agenda? No! Did u spend time and money on it? Yes! So how does it make it aany less important? I look forward to Joining Santa Rampage next year because I had a good time even though because i was a SanatCon Santa and i thought i was doing the right thing by trying to lead. I am certainly not a follower but I had no problem joining the "rampage" and spreading good cheer because i am pretty sure that is what it's about.

Last year's turnout and "itinerary" were pathetic so a few put forth some effort to break out of that WEAK mold in hopes of making it a Real, memorable event. Clearly, that was a bad idea.
