Hey Santas, just returned from NYC Santa Con and it was amazing !(my second time). Last year I did LA and it paled in comparison. We wasted a lot of time and the bus thing was pointless. I see this year has three different routes? And it ends/starts in the South Bay?!? That will be great for public transportation (Santa doesn't want a DUI).

There is a cool Downtown LA pub crawl that same day noon to midnight. Drink and food specials at twelve bars. Theme is ugly sweater but i am sure Santa will be welcome. All stops are in downtown. Find the Downtown LA Facebook group for info.

I've been attending SantaCon since 2005; I've been there in the rain, and I've been there in the shine, but last Year's was definitely one of my favorites. Great job herding the hundreds of Santas through the streets of DTLA and WeHo. The food trucks and busses at McA Park was a great idea, as were the cases of beer (was it Old Milwaukee?). Ending the festivities with another bus ride to our meeting location with copious amounts of pizzas was also greatly-appreciated. All this for a measly $20. Who would dare complain?! Not I. See y'all at SantaCon LA this Saturday.

Are any santas coming from the highland park/pasadena gold line? My Santa partner just dropped out :( and I don't want to be the only Santa on the train. There's free street parking at the highland park station. What's the start time and would anyone like to meet up? Santa Palin

Is there going to be a schedule for this bus? If I'm going to pay for it, I want to know approximate places/times it picks up and drops off so I know if I can make it.

Redline crawl? seems a bit limited...would be better to keep it pedestrian in Hollywood or Downtown...but to do both?

20 was a rip off, there was no need for a bus, it wasted lots of time. just getting on the bus and waiting for it to leave took 30 minutes. why bus from dtla to weho for just 2 locations and then back to dtla?

I second the sentiment, if you expect to get more than a slice of pizza and a few brews and a bus ride for 20 dollars you should take your 20 dollars and go to a 3rd world country. Seriously, I thought it was an amazing deal and a cool opportunity to celebrate.. honestly don't pay it. Just take your 20 and spend it on two drinks at some bar.. seriously some people are just stupid...

For the organizers.. MUCH props.. for all your hard work you should pocket a little cash... I would.

I appreciate what Santa did for us last year. If someone is complaining about the cost of a ticket, then let them walk with other Santa's. The ticket price of $20 bucks was a fair price and well worth it. The Sleigh ride around town was safe and awesome. LA SantaCon exceeded my expectations. I'm alone in L.A., so SantaCon is the only loving feeling I get during Christmas. Thanks.
